Irish Music and Dance:
The Railway Pub features local Irish Music every Sunday night. Wonderful music. Friendly crowd of your neighbors with a fun host named Mike! Morah's (Morah Begley) features traditional Music by children and adults and some Irish Dancing at her thatched roof cottage, lit by candles and kerosene lamps, with a peat fire in the fireplace. During the summer months they have live traditional Irish music and Ballads every night of the week in the pub. During the winter months they have live music every Saturday night. Murphy's have been awarded distinction in 2002 and 2003 for Irish Traditional Music. Good reasonable food as well. Pawdi’s Recently renovated, large space and live music. Eilis Kennedy, John Benny's wife, is virtuoso vocalist, and she gathers wonderfully talented musicians from the area for music sessions two nights a week. What a delight! All within minutes of Irish Vacation House!
